If you have any kind of knowledge of, or connection to, esports in the UK, then you have most likely heard of Fnatic. The London-based esports organisation was founded back in 2004 and has been a trailblazer in the British esports scene ever since. They are widely considered as a global leader in multiple games, including League of Legends and Dota 2, which is why their recent announcement of a brand-new event was such big news. On Sunday, November 9th, they are organising a VALORANT event called “The London Clash”, marking the very first VALORANT match of Fnatic’s squad in the United Kingdom for the first time.

The London Clash 2025

It will be the first time The London Clash will be organised by Fnatic, which serves as their own OFF//SEASON event. The new creation will also be used by Fnatic to officially reveal and introduce their VALORANT squad for the upcoming 2026 season. The London Clash is in fact the fruit of a collaboration with the organisation’s sponsor, INZONE Sony, which is why the official name of the event is “INZONE The London Clash”.

“INZONE London Clash is Fnatic Valorant's first ever home soil matchup”, writes Fnatic on their website, “On Sunday 9th November two teams take to the stage in this first of its kind format for Valorant Fans. Co-Hosted by INZONE, this Showmatch will see Fnatic take on GiantX, where one team will come out victorious. On the day you will experience fan and community activations, Sony INZONE exclusives, and much more. Come and experience the iconic Fnatic Valorant for the very first time ever in their home City of London.”

Fnatic and VALORANT

Fnatic decided in 2021 to create their own VALORANT team in order to enter the global competitive scene. Since then, the British esports organisation has booked various major successes, including victories at Superdome 2022, Red Bull Home Ground #4 and VCT 2024: EMEA Stage 2. They also clinched consecutive titles at the VALORANT Champions event in both 2022 and 2023.

As for the current year 2025, Fnatic’s best result so far has been their first place at VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1. The biggest money hauls were taken at VALORANT Champions 2025 though, where Fnatic got second place and earned $ 400.000 in prize money (£ 301.158), and at the Esports World Cup 2025, where they finished second as well and took home $ 230.000 (£ 173.166).

London Clash afterparty

As we wrote before, Fnatic’s London Clash will be taking place on Sunday, November 9th, 2025. No further details about the event have been revealed yet, so we don’t know yet which teams Fnatic will face and if the clashes will be streamed, for example. What we do know though, is that The London Clash opens its doors at 14h30 (UK time) with the Showmatch starting at 16h00 (UK time). On top of that, Fnatic has communicated that the end of the first edition of The London Clash will be celebrated with a big party… for which no ending time has been mentioned!
