New British football stadiums in EA FC 26?
15 July 2025
At the moment of writing, no official release date has been announced yet for the highly anticipated next instalment in the EA FC (former FIFA) franchise. Looking at past releases though, it looks likely for EA Sports to release EA FC 26 towards the end of September of this year.
That does not prevent the usual rumours around the upcoming game from circulating and recently, the new stadiums in EA FC 26 have been the talk of the town. Or better said, the rumoured new stadiums in EA FC 26, because EA Sports has not confirmed any of the names that are making the rounds at the moment. For the players and fans of esports in the UK, we list some of the British stadiums that are rumoured to be added to EA FC 26.
Everton’s brand-new Hill Dickinson Stadium
For more than a century, Premier League club Everton played its home matches at Goodison Park. The stadium was opened in 1892 and was actually the first major football stadium in England. For the start of the upcoming 2025-2026 season, the Toffees will be playing in a brand-new stadium called the Everton Stadium, though it will be called the Hill Dickinson Stadium after the British law firm who were announced as the stadium’s first title sponsor earlier this year. Rumour has it that the new Everton Stadium will be included in EA FC 26, despite it still being worked on at this moment. EA Sports pulled off a similar stunt with the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in FIFA19, which was also included before it was officially ready to be used in real life.
Wrexham’s STOK Racecourse
Since the purchase of club Wrexham AFC in 2020 by actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, the Welsh football club has been one of the most mediatic clubs in the entire United Kingdom. They managed to combine all of the attention with impressive achievements on the pitch though, as they clinched back-to-back promotions in the last two seasons. Wrexham AFC will be featuring in the Championship coming season and seeing as EA Sports already added Championship stadiums to their franchise last year, Wrexham’s STOK Racecourse feels like a serious candidate for inclusion in the hugely popular game this year.
Birmingham’s St. Andrews
Speaking of teams that recently promoted to the Championship: Birmingham City. The Midlands club has been part of British football since its inception in 1875 and they have been playing at their St. Andrews stadium since 1906. Seeing as the Blues have now returned to the second level of professional English football, the ground looks like a prime candidate for inclusion in EA FC 26. Not only because of their large history, but also because they are considered a serious candidate for promotion to the Premier League, thanks to US-based Knighthead Capital Management. That company acquired a controlling stake in the club plus full ownership of the stadium in 2023, with the goal of bringing the club back amongst the English footballing elite as soon as possible.
