Player lineups for ePremier League 2024-2025 revealed
18 February 2025
With the online qualifiers and the club playoffs now behind us, we can look forward to the start of the 2024-2025 season of the ePremier League, a major event on the UK esports calendar. In November of last year, Electronic Arts (EA) and the Premier League already announced that the tournament would be returning this year for a seventh season, with online qualifiers for it starting on November 20th 2024 already. These were then followed by the club playoffs, which were played at the end of January 2025, and now the countdown towards the start of the Group Stage has commenced. As part of the build-up, the esports lineups for each of the twenty ePremier League clubs have recently officially been revealed.
Various former champions
Each of the twenty Premier League sides get to create an esports team as well, consisting of two players per team. As a result, a total of 22 names was revealed recently as we work towards the start of the ePremier League Group Stage on March 1st, 2025. This season’s overall roster contains four former ePremier League champions, including Manchester City’s Donovan “Tekkz” Hunt and Matias “Bonnano” Bonanno, who are also the reigning champions. The other two former champions to feature this season are Thomas “Stokes” Stokes and Tom Leese, who represent Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspur, respectively.

£ 100.000 prize pool
The players listed above will be competing for a share of the prize pool, which totals £ 100.000 for the ePremier League 2024-2025 season. Out of that amount, £ 30.000 is reserved for the eventual champion, while £ 15.000 goes to the runner-up. On top of that, the champion will qualify for both the FC Pro 25 World Championship and the eChampions League. The runner-up will get a starting ticket for the eChampions League only. In the latter tournament last year, Man City’s “Bonanno” managed to make it to the Semifinals, where he was eliminated by eventual champions Paderborn, represented by German player Jonas “Jonny” Wirth.
