Team Charvas to represent Great Britain at ENC Apex Legends

It all came down to the last weekend of EMEA Qualifiers for the fans of Apex Legends in the United Kingdom. And it did so in spectacular fashion, with four British teams going into the final weekend with a chance of representing their nation at the upcoming 2026 Esports Nations Cup (ENC). UK esports organisations GBR Creamers, GBR Flowstate, GBR Greats and GBR Charvas all entered with ENC, and it was the latter who eventually managed to clinch the coveted spot. Their second place overall, behind Poland, means that Charvas will be Great Britain’s official representative when the Esports Nations Cup Apex Legends event kicks off on November 26th, 2026.
Tense finish for UK fans
If it had been solely up to kill points, GBR Creamers would have taken the spot, but unfortunately for them, place points matter as well. And where they did manage to collect more raw kill points than the other UK side (36), they also got just 12 place points. A total of 48 points got them fifth place in the overall EMEA Qualifier ranking. The only British team to finish below them was GBR Flowstate, who managed just 35 points overall.
The importance of place points besides kill points was illustrated by GBR Greats, who recorded 9 kill points less than Creamers, but also 11 more place points. Their total of 50 points saw them finish in fourth place. Denmark and EMEA Qualifier winners Poland finished above them, as well as one other UK organisation.
And that organisation was previously mentioned Team Charvas. They got just 4 kill points less than kill point leader Creamers, while their 35 place points eclipsed all other British teams in that category. As a result, they clinched second place in the EMEA Qualifier, behind Poland, who ran away with the victory with an incredible 81 points. Thanks to that excellent result, Charvas will represent Great Britain in Apex Legends at the upcoming 2026 Esports Nations Cup.
ENC Apex Legends
As British representatives, Charvas joins the forty best Apex Legends teams in the world when the 2026 Esports Nation Cup’s Apex Legends event kicks off on November 26th. The Group Stage will see twenty teams eliminated after a six game series, while groups will play single round robin format. The twenty best teams advance to the Finals, where they will compete in a Match Point Format. This means that the first team to hit 50 points AND then secure first place will be crowned as champion.
Apart from the glory, Great Britain’s Team Charvas will also be looking to secure as much of the prize pool as possible. The organisation has reserved no less than $ 1,2 million in total (which comes down to about £ 887.070), of which $ 200.000 (around £ 147.845) has been reserved for the winners. The runner-up will take home $ 120.000, while the team in third place will bring in $ 60.000 in prize money. The rest of the prize pot will be divided over the remaining 37 teams, with the lowest-ranked team still getting $ 17.320.
